‘Starting a business together probably appeared on one of our many bucket lists as best friends. We never imagined it would become a reality someday. We remember trying to make a pearl bag for the first time, even though we knew nothing about the process, materials, or how to run a business. All we had was a deep love for pearls, an interest in DIY projects, and an eye for beautiful aesthetics to tie everything together. Taking a shot in the dark, we kicked things off with a single bag on our Instagram page. After lots of learning, experimenting with new designs, exploring different ideas, creating unimaginable products, making countless mistakes, and handling dozens of crises, here we are—with over 100 products and a community of more than 20 thousand pearl lovers. Born out of a passion for fashion, crafting, and a casual conversation during the pandemic, Pearl It Up quickly became our lifeline. It’s overwhelming to see the love it has received from hundreds of thousands of people.
